VenUS 6

VenUS 6 aims to investigate the clinical and cost effectiveness of evidence-based compression, two-layer bandage and compression wraps for time to healing of venous leg ulcers.

DOMINO-DFU

This study is looking at the best way to diagnose osteomyelitis (bone infection) in diabetic ulcers and will be recruiting patients in 3 phases over three years starting in Spring 2021.

ROSSINI-2

To determine whether several specific in-theatre interventions, used alone or in combination, result in decreased rates of SSI up to 30 days post-operation in adult patients undergoing abdominal surgery.

A pragmatic multicentre randomised controlled trial to assess the clinical and cost effectiveness of negative pressure wound therapy versus usual care for surgical wounds healing by secondary intention

MIDFUT

A multicentre, seamless phase II/III, open, parallel group, multi-arm multi-stage randomised controlled trial in patients with a hard-to-heal DFU, with blinded outcome assessment.

FraiLTI

A prospective multicentre observational study to determine the incidence of frailty, sarcopenia and multimorbidity in chronic limb threatening ischaemia and the associated impact on clinical outcomes.
